  • Development Officer (2016-2020)

I work as behaviourist for Dogs Trust.

Previously, I was an Animal Welfare Advisor for international NGO Brooke, Action for Working Horses and Donkeys. I was responsible for providing advice and training to the staff and partners working in Africa, Asia and Latin America, supporting them to understand the impact on working equids of their programmes in healthcare, community engagement and advocacy. I also served as Food Business Research Officer at Compassion in World Farming, where I engaged leading food companies in science to raise welfare standards on farms.

I completed a BSc in Animal Behaviour at the University of Sheffield and an MSc in Applied Animal Behaviour and Animal Welfare at the University of Edinburgh, for which I studied play behaviour in future guide dogs with the University of Nottingham.
