Regional Secretaries

Save the Date: 2018 ISAE Benelux Regional Meeting

This year, the conference of the Benelux region of the ISAE will be held at the Experimental Poultry Centre in Geel, Belgium on the 10th of October 2018

We would like to welcome you to present a study on the behaviour or welfare of farm, laboratory, companion or zoo animals. The official conference language will be English. Of course, the conference is also open to people who want to attend but don’t want to present a study themselves.

Registration fee: €35 for ISAE members and €55 for non-members, including lunch. You can also register to stay for dinner.

MSc and BSc students planning to pursue a career in animal welfare or animal behaviour will be able to apply for free registration by writing a motivation letter (max 1 A4). This motivation letter should at least include your personal background and the advantage you expect to have when joining the conference.

Abstract submission deadline: 5th September
Student motivation letter deadline: 12th September
Registration deadline: 26th September

We plan to focus on oral presentations, although posters will be allowed at the author’s own request. If we receive many requests for oral presentations we may have to change some of these into posters.

We hope to see you all (again)!

Kind regards,

Laura Webb & Lisanne Stadig
Benelux Regional Secretaries of the ISAE
