George Troupakis

George is currently a PhD candidate at the Adaptation Physiology chair group of Wageningen University, the Netherlands. His project explores the link between positive affective states and resilience in calves and pigs, and includes work on validating indicators of positive affect in these animals. He holds a Master’s degree in Animal Science from Wageningen University. Contact at .

There are nearly 700 members worldwide and each year the Society assembles for a major International Congress, where in addition to addresses by special keynote speakers, members present their latest research findings. There are also regular regional conferences held to encourage local knowledge exchange.
