Pig welfare in the Americas: Implementing global guidelines into regional practice

In 2018, the World Organization for Animal Health adopted a new chapter in its Terrestrial Animal Health Code dedicated to recommendations for the welfare of pigs.

This event is part of ongoing efforts to implement these recommendations in production systems around the world, including in the Americas.
