Liesbeth van Damme

Liesbeth is currently working as a PhD student at the Flanders Research Institute for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (ILVO) and Ghent University. Her topic is focused on the welfare, reproduction and behaviour of rabbits, more specifically on the group housing for breeding does. She’s also working the EU pilot project ‘Best Practice Hens’, researching egg production in non-cage housing systems. Liesbeth has a Master of Science in Biology from Ghent University. Contact at .

There are also regular regional conferences held to encourage local knowledge exchange.
