We would like to invite you to the 3rd meeting of the International Student Symposium on Animal Behavior and Cognition (ISSABC) that is going to be held at the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM) from 21st to 23rd June of 2023. This event is planned to be hybrid offering the opportunity to participate both in-person in the beautiful Mexico City and online for colleagues who are not able to make it in person. For this edition, we will accept abstracts and presentations both in English and Spanish languages. 

What is ISSABC?
ISSABC is the International Student Symposium on Animal Behaviour and Cognition. We are an organisation that is run by students, for students. We host an international conference biannually with a focus on animal behaviour. This conference aims to give the opportunity for students and early stage researchers to present their work to other students from around the world. We aim to give an opportunity to those who might otherwise not be able to present at more conventional conferences which tend to focus on the work results of later stages and more established researchers. We have a strong focus on making our conference as accessible and diverse as possible, hoping to bring the field of animal behaviour to all students regardless of their racial, educational, geographical and socioeconomic backgrounds, gender, sexual orientation or any disabilities. This symposium will be the third occurrence of the conference; the first meeting took place in Kyoto, Japan, in 2019 followed by the second taking place online in 2021 with the support of Western University in London, Canada.
