Ojelade, Oluwaseun Christianah

Dr. Ojelade, Oluwaseun Christianah is a Senior Lecturer and Researcher at the Department of Aquaculture and Fisheries Management, Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB), Ogun State, Nigeria. She graduated with a First Class degree Honors from FUNAAB in 2010 as the best graduating female student in the College of Environmental Resources Management and the University. She is a specialist in Fisheries Management and an emerging fish ethology and welfare. She is dutiful, diligent, and dedicated to her work. Dr. (Mrs.) Ojelade won the Nigerian Tertiary Education Trust Fund fellowship for postdoctoral research at the University of Glasgow and she is a certified fish handler by the Scottish Accreditation Board, and a licensed fish welfare scientist by the Animals in Science Regulation Unit (ASRU), United Kingdom. In addition, she co-authored some Institution Based Research grants. She belongs to different local and international professional societies such as the International Society for Applied Ethology (ISAE), the Universities Federation of Animal Welfare (UFAW), and the Fisheries Society of Nigeria (FISON) among others. She also attended conferences where scholarly papers were presented. Dr. (Mrs.) Ojelade currently has twenty-five (25) journal articles, in local, foreign learned journals and peer-reviewed Conference proceedings. She is currently working on the behavioral responses and welfare of fish species exposed to human-induced stressors and enrichment materials.
