Maria Hötzel

Maria José Hötzel a Professor in the Department of Animal Science and Rural Development at the Federal University of Santa Catarina. Maria is a veterinarian with a degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, and a PhD in Animal Science from The University of Western Australia. Her research and teaching activities in applied ethology are related to sustainable animal production systems, agroecology, and One Health.
