The topic for Day 1 is Global Animal Welfare: International Collaboration, Funding and Global Challenges and for Day 2 is Novel Approaches in Animal Welfare Research. Abstract submission is currently open (deadline is Friday 28th June) and registration will be opening in the next couple of days (early bird deadline is July 26th and final deadline 29th August).

There are nearly 700 members worldwide and each year the Society assembles for a major International Congress, where in addition to addresses by special keynote speakers, members present their latest research findings. There are also regular regional conferences held to encourage local knowledge exchange.
