Apply to be ISAE Student Representative!
Are you a graduate student researcher in applied ethology? Would you like to contribute to the development of this field of science? Then a Student Representative position within ISAE might be right for you!
The International Society for Applied Ethology (ISAE) represents professionals from multiple disciplines and species by providing a forum for the presentation and discussion of advances in applied animal behavior science. We are currently looking for a student who is interested in representing the student members of the society on the ISAE Council and organizing social and professional development events for students at the annual Congress. You will receive help with the costs of registration for the international ISAE Congress. Once elected, Student Representatives will serve a period of two years (from January 2019 to January 2021) during which they are expected to be graduate students.
If you are interested, please send a 1-page CV and 1-page statement describing your motivation and how you would like to contribute towards improving the student ISAE experience.
Applications should be submitted to Allison Pullin () by November 19, 2018. Once all applications are received, student members of the society will elect one candidate who will then be appointed by the president early next year.

There are nearly 700 members worldwide and each year the Society assembles for a major International Congress, where in addition to addresses by special keynote speakers, members present their latest research findings. There are also regular regional conferences held to encourage local knowledge exchange.
